Air India Express Is Now Operating Flights From Patna

The schedule includes direct services to Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar and Hyderabad.

Over the past couple of months, Air India Xpress (AIX) has revealed the upcoming connections to and from Patna, the capital of Bihar. Now, the city has officially joined the airline’s network with daily direct services to three domestic cities: Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, and Hyderabad.

The AIX flight from Bengaluru starts at 05:55 and lands in Patna at 08:35. The return leg begins and concludes its journey at 09:05 and 11:45, respectively. Those travelling to Patna from Hyderabad can take the AIX flight that departs at 11:05 and lands at 13:05. The opposite sector starts and ends at 13:45 and 15:55, respectively. The AIX service from Bhubaneswar to Patna starts at 14:55 and concludes at 16:20. After a halt of 40 minutes, the return flight takes off at 17:00 and arrives in Odisha’s capital at 18:30.

As a result, AIX will operate 21 weekly flights from Patna. Aside from the direct routes mentioned above, travellers can find one-stop connections to 14 domestic (Delhi, Chennai, Goa, Kolkata, and others) and two international destinations (Abu Dhabi and Dammam).

Under new ownership, AIX is rapidly expanding its fleet. The count is just shy of 100 aircraft, enabling the airline to achieve a 30 per cent jump in its winter schedule compared to the same period last year. The carrier now operates 400 daily flights, up from 325 last year.
