Air India Express Has Confirmed Four New Routes From Bhubaneswar

The new year will bring some early joy to those who travel in and out of Bhubaneswar. Air India Express (AIX) has confirmed four new cities it’ll link with Odisha’s capital in January 2025. Starting January 3, 2025, AIX will begin operating flights from Bhubaneswar to Jaipur and Kochi. A direct route to Lucknow will be introduced the next day, followed by a nonstop service to Patna on January 15, 2025. Bookings for all the new routes are now open.

The Bhubaneswar-Jaipur route will operate four times weekly: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. The flight will depart from Odisha’s capital and land in Rajasthan’s capital at 07:55 and 10:15, respectively. The return leg will start at 10:45 and conclude at 13:05. On the same day, the daily nonstop service to and from Kochi will also join AIX’s network. The outbound flight from Bhubaneswar will start at 15:10 and arrive in Kochi at 17:40. Those travelling the other way will depart and land at 18:10 and 20:50, respectively.

From January 4, 2025, AIX will operate three weekly flights (Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays) between Bhubaneswar and Lucknow. The service from Bhubaneswar will depart at 07:55 and arrive in Lucknow at 09:40. The reverse sector will start at 11:15 and finish at 13:05.

Then, beginning January 15, 2025, the Bhubaneswar-Patna route will go live. AIX will operate one flight daily on this route, with the service from Odisha’s capital departing at 14:55 and arriving in Bihar’s capital at 16:20. The return leg starts and concludes at 17:00 and 18:30, respectively.

By the time all the above-mentioned routes go live, AIX will be operating 104 weekly flights from Bhubaneswar, directly connecting to 11 domestic destinations. With just one stopover, another 17 cities can be reached.
