Aernnova And Mahindra Aerostructures Sign A Massive New Contract

It’s a multi-year deal valued at about USD 300 million.

Two partners collaborating on projects since 2013 have decided to deepen their ties with a fresh new contract. Aernnova Aerospace, SAU, and Mahindra Aerostructures have inked a multi-year contract valued at nearly USD 300 million. The paperwork states that Mahindra Aerostructures will manufacture metal sub-assemblies and components for several Airbus aircraft and Embraer aircraft families, including the C390 Millennium military transport aeroplane from the latter’s portfolio.

The produce will be delivered to multiple Aernnova Aerospace facilities across Spain, the UK, Portugal, and Brazil. Incorporating Mahindra Aerostructures to manufacture critical aircraft components will strengthen Aernnova Aerospace’s supply chain and, in turn, assist in increasing production at its factories.

Aernnova Aerospace has great confidence in Mahindra Aerostructures. The former assisted the latter in establishing its roots in India, contributing on several fronts, from facility design and development to skilling and skills assessment. Both companies will collaborate to build on this newly inked contract and further strengthen their ties in the future. Last year, Mahindra Aerostructures bagged two contracts from Airbus, one in January and another a couple of months later.
