What is the HONOR X9e Pro?
The HONOR X9e Pro is a 5G smartphone focused on durability and battery life. A 6.8-inch AMOLED screen sits on the front, while a 108MP main camera leads at the back. Inside, it runs MagicOS 10, HONOR’s Android 16-based software, on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chip. HONOR’s lab also expects six years of smooth running, a result it links to proactive storage clean-up.
The phone measures 162.2 x 77 x 8.08 mm and weighs about 203 g. In the UAE, it comes in four colours: Midnight Black, Deep Purple, Dawn Gold and Reddish Brown.
How tough is the HONOR X9e Pro?
The phone holds Switzerland’s SGS 5-star drop-resistance certification. In HONOR’s lab tests, it also survived a 3-metre drop onto smooth granite. It handled drops from any angle at 1.2 metres, too.
A new bumper design cut the risk of screen damage by 82% against the HONOR X9d in HONOR’s lab. The lab also says the bumper withstands more than 1,000 drops. For water and dust, the phone carries IP66, IP68 and IP69 under IEC 60529, plus IP69K under ISO 20653:2023.
HONOR also quotes a 10-metre submersion depth. In addition, its lab ran 100,000 repeated dips at a depth of 10 cm. That protection, however, applies under normal use. The phone isn’t professionally water-resistant, and its splash, water and dust resistance isn’t permanent and can weaken with wear.
How long does the HONOR X9e Pro battery last?
The battery has a typical capacity of 11,000mAh, with a rated capacity of 10,510mAh. HONOR calls it its first 11,000mAh battery and its largest silicon-carbon battery. In HONOR’s lab tests in flight mode on Wi-Fi, it lasted 66.8 hours of video and 164.5 hours of music.
HONOR’s lab also expects six years of battery health. Its test simulates six hours of screen use a day, across 1,000 full charge cycles. Charging runs at up to 80W with the original charger and cable. The phone can also charge other devices by cable at up to 27W.
What can the camera do?
The 108MP main camera has a 1/1.67-inch sensor, an f/1.75 aperture and optical image stabilisation. HONOR quotes CIPA 6.0 stabilisation for the main camera under the CIPA testing standard. The camera also records 4K video. A 5MP wide camera and a single LED flash join it at the back, while a 16MP camera handles selfies.
Digital zoom reaches 15x, and an Underwater Camera Mode handles shots in water once you switch it on. Photo resolution varies by mode, and full 108MP shots require High-Res mode.

What else does the phone offer?
The 6.8-inch screen has a 2788 x 1280 resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. Typical brightness is 800 nits, rising to 2,000 nits in high-brightness mode. It peaks at 10,000 nits, though only with full-screen video. HONOR groups 3840Hz PWM dimming and several AI display modes under its AI Eye Comfort Display.
Outdoor Mode, meanwhile, brightens the screen in direct sunlight and alerts you to extreme weather. It also turns on the speakerphone and cuts wind noise when calls are hard to hear. The touchscreen works with wet or gloved hands, and the phone supports NFC, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 6.0.
