BRABUS has revealed the URBAN E Fragment Edition, a limited-run 10-unit electric motorcycle co-created with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design and DAB Motors.

What is the BRABUS URBAN E Fragment Edition?

Brabus has unveiled its URBAN E Fragment Edition electric motorcycle. The motorcycle is limited to only 10 units worldwide. The URBAN E Fragment Edition is based on the BRABUS URBAN E platform, which was built in collaboration with French electric-motorcycle maker DAB Motors.

The BRABUS URBAN E Fragment Edition is created in collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design. The limited edition features Fragment Design-specific styling which includes painted exposed carbon-fibre bodywork, carbon wheel covers, white brake callipers, a white BRABUS Masterpiece leather seat with “Shell” quilting, and Fragment’s lightning-bolt logo integrated into the rear section and translucent LED tail-light design.

Hiroshi Fujiwara is a Japanese musician, DJ, designer and cultural figure widely regarded as one of the key pioneers of Japanese streetwear. He owns a design studio, Fragment Design; the studio is often seen collaborating with established brands across fashion, electronics, footwear, watches, art and now electric mobility.

The BRABUS URBAN E Fragment Edition is powered by a 27 kW electric motor, which enables a top speed of 120km/h paired with a 72 V battery offering a claimed range of up to 150 km.

What type of suspension, chassis and brakes does it use?

The BRABUS URBAN E Fragment Edition uses a lightweight chassis paired with a fully adjustable suspension setup and Brembo braking hardware. As for the suspension hardware, it comprises a 46 mm inverted front fork and a fully adjustable, CNC-machined rear shock absorber, with both ends offering 100 mm of wheel travel.

The Braking duties are handled by a Brembo radial four-piston front calliper gripping a 320 mm floating disc, accompanied by a single-piston rear calliper with a 240 mm disc and dual-channel ABS.

What type of features are on offer?

The BRABUS URBAN E Fragment Edition comes equipped with a 2.8-inch LCD instrument display, which displays necessary rider information and PIN-code keyless start. It offers four riding modes—Eco, Street, Sport, Nitrous Boost. Eco limits top speed to 60 km/h to prioritise range, while Nitrous Boost temporarily unlocks maximum phase current for up to 10 seconds.

How much does it cost, and how many units will be made?

The BRABUS URBAN E Fragment Edition is priced at €45,000 in European markets and US$50,000 in North America. BRABUS will make only 10 units worldwide, underlining the electric motorcycle’s collector-focused positioning.
