HUGO Fall/Winter 2026 Menswear: A new texture to tailoring

• HUGO Fall/Winter 2026 menswear puts texture at the centre of the season, with sharp tailoring, nappa leather and the HUGO check leading the offer. • Herringbone suiting, rigid baggy-fit denim, sateen utility pieces and ribbed wool knitwear carry a '90s spirit into winter. • The collection is on sale now in HUGO stores, through wholesale partners and online at hugo.com, backed by the next chapter of the Red Means GO campaign.

What defines HUGO Fall/Winter 2026 menswear?

Texture does. HUGO Fall/Winter 2026 menswear leads with cloth, so the interest sits in surfaces you can read at arm’s length: grain, weave, nap and rib. Sharp tailoring still anchors the offer, but the character comes from fabric. The brand describes the mood as ’90s in spirit and modern in attitude, and utilitarian details run through it. Leather, denim, herringbone and soft winter layers carry most of the season. Furthermore, sateen adds a refined finish to the more precise shapes. Familiar silhouettes return with far more to touch.

Which pieces lead the menswear collection?

Three looks set the tone.

A brown nappa leather jacket opens the season with a shirt collar and chest pockets, which give it a utilitarian edge. HUGO styles it with black rigid baggy-fit jeans and a slim-fit turquoise cotton shirt. The brand names the jacket Lerano and lists it as 100 per cent buffalo leather, with a debossed logo patch at the rear hem. It also states the piece holds at least 80 per cent better raw materials, and that the leather comes from Leather Working Group Gold-certified tanneries.

A dark-grey herringbone suit jacket handles the second look. It sits with relaxed straight-leg pleated trousers and a black zip-front overshirt, so formal tailoring meets workwear detailing and neither side wins outright.

Knitwear closes the trio. A relaxed black rib-melange wool-blend cardigan layers over a crisp shirt and softens the tailoring’s hard edge.

What is the HUGO check?

It is the brand’s house check, and it returns in winter’s palette. HUGO runs it across tailoring and outerwear rather than saving it for one hero piece. The pattern appears on slim-fit virgin wool trousers, a modern-fit blazer in checked virgin wool, and a grey patterned double-breasted coat in a virgin wool blend. So, the check runs through the collection as a thread rather than a single statement.

How does the tailoring sit this season?

Broadly. HUGO cuts slim, extra-slim, modern, regular, and relaxed shapes across the season, so the fits range from close to loose. Herringbone gets a modern-fit suit jacket with matching trousers in dark grey. A slim-fit suit jacket with a metal buckle closure sits alongside it, and an all-gender blazer with notch lapels pairs with all-gender suit trousers in soft twill. Many pieces carry Mix & Match, which lets you buy the jacket and trousers separately and choose the right size for each.

Which shoes and accessories finish the look?

Shoes stay grounded. Scotch-grain derbies and lug-sole derbies carry the tailoring, and a buffalo-leather belt finishes it. HUGO offers grained leather derbies with a lug sole alongside smooth leather derbies with an embossed logo, so the choice comes down to how much weight you want underfoot.

Which colours and categories lead the collection?

The palette moves through tinted white, mushroom, brown and black, with lacquer-red accents. HUGO BOSS lists 97 men’s pieces online, and 96 of those carry a Fall/Winter 2026 season tag. Black dominates at 42 pieces, brown follows at 19, and blue and white sit at nine each. Shirts and blazers lead the categories at 20 and 18, with 18 shoe styles, 16 trousers and eight coats behind them. The line-up therefore reads as a tailoring-first wardrobe, with outerwear and shoes doing the heavy lifting.

What is the Red Means GO campaign about?

HUGO built the season’s campaign as the next chapter of Red Means GO. The first chapter explored the friction that sparks ambition. This one follows the same cast through the rhythm of everyday life: moving through the city, chasing work and keeping momentum alive.

Five international creatives return: Berlin actor Aaron Altaras, Czech photographer and director Tereza Mundilová, London artist and musician Cato, London curator Temitayo Famakinwa and Ohio DJ Nick Cheo. Each brings a different version of ambition to the frame. A series of provocative lines then follows them across social and digital platforms, giving voice to the doubts, pressures and expectations that come with choosing progress over comfort. The imagery stays candid and city-driven, and HUGO shot it raw rather than polished. Each wears standout pieces from the collection, where the clothes meet the message.

Where can you buy HUGO Fall/Winter 2026 menswear?
