The range of 2026 Nissan Kicks models has been expanded with the introduction of a new SR trim, as well as Nissan’s Connected Car Services (CCS) 2.0, in certain variants in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. With the new SR becoming the top-of-the-range model of the Nissan Kicks lineup, it will be distinguished from other versions by its unique interior design. At the same time, it will maintain all the features typical of the Kicks range.
Why is the new Nissan Kicks SR different?
The new Nissan Kicks SR trim is marked by sporty interior styling. It comes with black leatherette seats with sport cloth inserts, contrast stitching on the seats, door panels, and centre console, and a carbon fibre-textured instrument panel.
Other interior amenities include a leather-wrapped D-shaped steering wheel and a driver-oriented dashboard with easy-to-reach control buttons. The SR is the most premium version in the regional lineup after the SV, SV+, and SL.
What technologies and connectivity solutions are present?
Some Nissan Kicks versions that became available in the UAE and Saudi Arabia markets can be equipped with Nissan’s CCS 2.0 solution. The system can be accessed using the MyNissan app and provides remote access to some vehicle data and functionality.

The car is also equipped with dual 12.3-inch screens, one serving as the infotainment system and the other as the instrument cluster. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are wirelessly connected, and a Bose audio system with 10 speakers, including two integrated into the front headrests, is offered on equipped versions.
Other available features include ambient LED interior lighting and a panoramic moonroof.
What is the power of the 2026 Nissan Kicks?
The 2026 Nissan Kicks has a 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 142 BHP and 190 Nm of torque. It uses Nissan’s Xtronic continuously variable transmission.
The car has different drive modes, including Sport, Eco, and Normal, based on driving conditions. It also has ProPILOT technology that helps with steering, acceleration, and braking on certain highways.
What are the comfort and safety features in the SUV?
The SUV still has Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats that ensure comfortable seating during long-distance travel. The Kicks still has room for passengers in the back, along with various storage options for everyday use.

Comfort and driver assistance features include the following: Lane Departure Prevention, Predictive Forward Collision Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Parking Sensors, and the available 3D Around View Monitor for a 360-degree view of the surroundings at low speeds and during parking situations.
Availability and variants of the 2026 Nissan Kicks
The 2026 Nissan Kicks is already available from the Nissan dealership network in the Middle East. Four trim options are available: SV, SV+, SL, and SR, along with 15 body colours, six of which are available in a two-tone finish. At the time of writing this article, Nissan has not yet disclosed pricing for this revised range or the availability of CCS 2.0 technology, which is limited to select trim levels in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
