TAG Heuer TaylorMade: A watch for better golf

• TAG Heuer TaylorMade brings Automatic Strokes Gained analysis to a connected golf watch. • The 45 mm titanium watch drops its usual black coating and adds golf-specific design cues. • A Spider ZT x TAG Heuer putter and co-branded accessories round out the special edition.

What is the TAG Heuer TaylorMade watch?

TAG Heuer TaylorMade is a connected smartwatch built for golfers, a joint effort from Swiss watchmaker TAG Heuer and equipment specialist TaylorMade Golf. Its full name, the TAG Heuer Connected Calibre E5 45 mm x TaylorMade Edition, is a mouthful, yet the idea is simple: it logs every round, makes sense of the numbers, then slips onto the wrist for the week.

The two brands have circled golf before. TAG Heuer first stepped onto the course in 2005, then sharpened its digital side with the Connected Golf Edition in 2019. This TAG Heuer TaylorMade edition pushes further still, weaving deeper insight into the round itself.

How do TAG Heuer and TaylorMade work together?

Each brand has a habit of rewriting its own rulebook. TaylorMade landed in 1979 with the first metal wood, a club that reshaped the modern game, while TAG Heuer built its name on chronograph engineering and precise timing.

On the watch, the split is clean. TAG Heuer’s algorithms capture every shot and position, and TaylorMade’s analytics turn that data into the strokes gained metric: two specialisms, one reading.

What does the TAG Heuer TaylorMade watch look like?

The case measures 45 mm and sits 14.80 mm deep, made of brushed and sandblasted grade 2 titanium. For the first time on a Calibre E5, there is no black DLC coating, so the metal reads closer to the raw tone of a golf club. A ceramic bezel wraps an engraved 18-hole scale, and the TaylorMade logo sits on the crown.

On the strap, blue leather meets a black rubber base, marked by a white centre line and tonal stitching. The DLC titanium caseback hides the heart rate sensor, a second textile strap is included, and the TAG Heuer TaylorMade watch holds 50 metres of water resistance.

How does Automatic Strokes Gained work?

Golf hides in the margins: a drive a fraction long, a putt off line, and a stroke quietly slips away. The TAG Heuer TaylorMade watch captures it all, logging every shot on its own while the player plays. TAG Heuer OS, dual-band GPS and a new hole layout view do the work in the background.

TaylorMade then measures each round against set goals and returns an Automatic Strokes Gained figure, a single metric that benchmarks progress over time. It shows where you win strokes, where you lose them, and what still needs work, so a vague feeling hardens into numbers you can read.

Which golf features does it include?

Six golf complications stay within a glance on the TAG Heuer TaylorMade watch:

  • Longest drive
  • Next golf round
  • Best score
  • Last score
  • Total rounds played this year
  • Total birdies made

Together, they balance the highlights against the grind of a season. Two exclusive faces extend the theme: Momentum traces the TaylorMade logo through a sweeping hand, while Topography borrows the contours of a course and nods to the Spider putter.

What can the watch do beyond golf?

Underneath the golf focus, the TAG Heuer TaylorMade watch runs the full Calibre E5 platform: an AMOLED touchscreen behind sapphire glass, always on and easy to read in sunlight. Battery life stretches to two days in performance mode, three in low power and around 12 hours of golf, while a half-hour charge buys back a full day. It pairs with iOS 18 and Android 13 or later over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.3, and the sensors track sleep, heart rate, breathing rate, and blood oxygen saturation.

What else comes in the collection?

The watch is only the centrepiece. Alongside it comes the Spider ZT x TAG Heuer putter, which folds TaylorMade’s Spider pedigree into TAG Heuer styling and echoes the watch face in its sightline and textures. It ships with a co-branded headcover, ball marker, and packaging, while headwear, gloves, and a duffle bag round out the set.

How much does the TAG Heuer TaylorMade watch cost?

TAG Heuer revealed the special edition on June 22, 2026, with exclusive online access from 24 June. British buyers can expect around GBP 2,150, while North American buyers can expect USD 2,550. Look for it under the reference SBT8A86.EB0421.
