The Suzuki Katana Limited Edition is a special version of the current model year of its iconic streetfighter Katana, launched in Germany, with a production run limited to only 45 motorcycles. Incorporating visual enhancements sets it apart from the standard Katana.

Visually, the limited edition Katana builds upon the standard Katana’s bodywork, featuring visual aesthetics such as special graphics, a silver-themed finish, gold or bronze-toned wheels, a black rear section, a carbon-look tank pad, and frame sliders.

Suzuki has launched the Special Edition Katana to celebrate and honour 45 years of the Katana name, with the 45th-anniversary theme running across the motorcycle, reflected in the production number and pricing strategy.

Does the bike get any mechanical upgrades?

The Limited edition of the Suzuki Katana doesn’t feature any drastic mechanical overhaul, utilising the same mechanical platform as the standard Katana. Featuring a twin spar aluminium frame and aluminium swingarm, along with fully adjustable USD front forks and a rear monoshock suspension setup.

What engine powers the Suzuki Katana Limited Edition?

The Suzuki Katana Limited Edition incorporates the same 999 cc inline-four engine seen in the standard Katana. This 999cc inline-four engine produces 150 hp at 1,000 rpm and a peak torque of 106 Nm at 9,250 rpm. However, Suzuki bolts a special Akrapovic exhaust to the limited edition variant, separating it from the standard model.

 What electronic features does the Suzuki Katana Limited Edition offer?

While the limited edition doesn’t offer any exclusive electronic features. However, the standard Suzuki Katana offers a comprehensive electronics package to begin with, such as the Traction Control System, ride-by-wire electronic throttle (multiple ride modes), a bi-directional quickshifter, the Suzuki Easy Start System, and Low RPM Assist.
