August 2025 witnessed the official arrival of the new iCAUR brand in the UAE. Fast forward to February 2026, iCAUR hosted the global launch of its new iCAUR V27 SUV in Dubai. A gala evening at the Park Hyatt Dubai saw the official launch of the V27 SUV, earmarking it as the brand’s flagship release of the year. The event was attended by senior global executives from iCAUR, VIP guests and respected members of the media including The Cornea Impression.
What’s special about the new iCAUR V27?
Customisation appears to be a key aspect of iCAUR’s brand ethos and the new V27 builds on it. At launch, the iCAUR V27 boasted as many as 39 pre-installed ecosystem ports and offered a wide range of upgrade accessories to “enhance users’ high-quality lifestyle.” The customisation palette ranged from upholstery colours to a variety of wheel designs.
Additionally, the iCAUR V27 gets powered by a REEV powertrain. iCAUR calls its technology – Golden REEV (Range-Extended Electric Vehicle) where the SUV houses both electric motor and a petrol engine with the latter being used to charge the onboard battery and the former is used to power the wheels. iCAUR claims the V27 will offer over 150km pure electric range and more than 995km combined range. 
iCAUR put the V27 through rigorous testing schedules to ensure the REEV SUV is compliant and comfortable in the demanding conditions of the Middle East. More than 1,000 test vehicles were deployed to multiple locations worldwide including the roads of UAE and Saudi Arabia, completing over 50 comprehensive test programmes. The total durability testing mileage exceeded 1 million kilometres, covering extreme heat, severe cold, and complex road conditions. Mr Hope, Country Director, iCAUR UAE, said: “It was so important to ensure the V27 was not just a capable vehicle in challenging conditions, but that it performs seamlessly in all weathers. UAE drivers rightly expect a genuine off-roader that can be enjoyed all year round, even in the height of summer.”
What is the price of iCAUR V27 in the UAE?
The iCAUR V27 will be available at a starting price of AED 134,999 in the UAE. Three trims – Classic, Premium and Flagship will be on offer with the top-spec trim priced at AED 164,999. At launch, iCAUR offered a comprehensive ownership package comprising a 6-year or 200,000 kms warranty, free service for 5-years or 100,000 kms, free registration, free tinting and free insurance.
What are the features of the iCAUR V27?
The Cornea Impression was invited for the first drive of the V27 before the official launch. The V27 embraces a boxy profile on the exterior with classic round headlights and a length spanning over five metres. On the inside, the first-in-class Stellar Porthole dual panoramic sun screen with 99.9% UV blockage along with a sound bar that runs through the roof, segregating the dual sun roof setup. A central infotainment screen houses all controls of the car while the driver benefits from a smaller digital instrument cluster. With a 2,900mm wheelbase and efficient use of space, it offers a roomy and comfortable five-seat layout.
How many iCAUR showrooms exist in the UAE?
iCAUR has already opened the flagship showroom at Dubai’s Oasis Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road, along with showrooms in Abu Dhabi and Sharjah. These three strategic locations form the basis of iCAUR’s ambitious plans to expand the dealership and distribution network across all seven emirates. Tim Zhang, General Manager of Chery International Middle East, said at the launch: “We have a clear vision for the UAE market – we are not content to simply open showrooms – these locations will be part of a bigger eco-system that includes world class after-sales service and establishing dedicated owner communities, so our valued customers can share experiences, enjoy interesting drives, interact with our highly trained teams and make new friends”.
