Century, Toyota’s idea of a flagship luxury sedan, was recently given a spin-off as a new sub-brand at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show. Three new concept models with varied body styles were showcased at the Japan Mobility Show, armed to penetrate the ultra-luxury segment. Toyota also exhibited an entirely revamped Corolla Concept to present its future intentions. But that doesn’t imply Toyota’s luxury arm, Lexus, was left alone as the Japanese luxury brand displayed as many as seven concepts at the 2025 Japan Mobility Show.
The LS has been Lexus’ flagship moniker in the past and the 2025 Japan Mobility Show saw the brand reintroduce the idea of LS as a ‘Luxury Space’. The brand showcased three new concept cars to expand on the idea of its new Luxury Space as a future-ready mobility package. Along with these, Lexus’s vision for a catamaran, a home, a community space and light aircraft were also introduced at the event.

What is the new Lexus LS Concept?

The Catamaran can achieve a 15-knot cruising speed while also being equipped with a hydrogen fuel cell. Amenities include four bedrooms, a galley, bathroom and fly deck.
