Vinile Reimagines The Classic Range Rover With A Modern Twist

In a move that represents a significant shift in the world of luxury restoration, Vinile has unveiled its first model: a remastered Range Rover Classic, premiering in Maranello ahead of its official launch at the Monaco Yacht Show 2025.

What Vinile is offering is not just a concept design, but a real, drivable vehicle that embodies the brand’s philosophy of reviving icons of the past with a modern spirit. This first model marks the launch of a limited series of 15 vehicles, each fully customised to the customer’s specific requirements.

Vinile is not just an automotive company, but a multidisciplinary cultural platform that spans the worlds of yachting, aviation, interior design, and even music.

From the outside, Vinile maintains the proportions of the iconic 1970 model, but every surface has been meticulously redesigned to achieve visual harmony and formal purity. The body is handcrafted, with reshaped fenders, doors, and a carefully aligned hood. The metallic green body and gloss black roof exude luxury, while details like the 3D grille, LED lights, and black pinstriping with yellow accents add to the Vinile’s modern identity.

Inside, the cabin is a complete sensory experience. The build uses 45 m2 of premium Baxter leather in harmonious colours, along with hand-carved white poplar wood. The goal was not to replicate a classic cabin, but rather to create a luxurious mobile living environment that combines comfort and exclusivity.

Technology has been integrated without compromising the classic feel. A 10.1-inch touchscreen manages navigation and audio functions, with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The premium audio system, by Rockford and Focal, delivers pure, thoughtful sound, while aviation-inspired controls add a distinctive touch. A unique touch includes the ability to mount the owner’s wristwatch in the centre of the dashboard.

The Range Rover Classic by Vinile features an upgraded original V8 engine that produces around 200 hp, compared to the original 167 hp. The suspension has been redesigned to reduce rear squat, with deeper-profiled 16-inch wheels and wider tyres for improved performance and stability.

After the initial five-door model, Vinile now produces a three-door version and is preparing to launch three LWB models, part of a planned 15-car production run. Pricing starts at around $360,000, and each car is unique.
