ŠKODA recently unveiled its Vision O concept car, building on the company’s estate car heritage while reimagining it with a contemporary design, advanced technology, and an approach focused on sustainability and everyday usability.
Vision O is a concept that reflects ŠKODA’s strategy to maintain its leadership in the estate car segment in Europe while developing this segment in line with future requirements.
Vision O is an evolution of the “Modern Solid” design language that debuted with the Vision 7S in 2022, combining attractive appearance with intelligent functionality. Vision O features over 650 litres of storage space and supports a variety of propulsion systems, most notably the electric system, making it suitable for families and businesses alike.
The exterior combines boldness and aerodynamics, with distinctive design touches such as the new Tech-Loop front grille, T-shaped taillights, and aerodynamically optimised wheels. The vented hood improves aerodynamics and directs rainwater, while details such as the hidden door handles and B-pillar, inspired by models like the Yeti and Roomster, add a futuristic feel with a traditional influence.
The new Circadian Hue paint adds a unique touch, changing from beige to blue depending on the light and viewing angle, giving the car a dynamic and distinctive character.
Inside, the Vision O’s cabin is designed with refined simplicity and a focus on functionality, with a horizontally integrated driver information display that is customisable and touch-sensitive, alongside an intelligent controller. The seats are made from 100% recycled polyester, while the interior surfaces are covered with materials such as plant-based Ultrasuede nu and NABORE made from residual leather. Rhythmic lighting is also available, adjusting to circadian cycles to support the occupants’ biorhythms.
ŠKODA pays special attention to sustainability in Vision O, using recyclable materials in the seats, flooring, and even the roof and interior trim components, without compromising on quality or style.
