Marginal Increase In UAE Petrol Prices For May 2025

The UAE has announced an ever-so-slight increase in fuel prices for May 2025. This adjustment comes after a significant drop in April.

The new per-litre rates are as follows:

Super 98: AED 2.58, up from AED 2.57 in April
Special 95: AED 2.47, increased from AED 2.46
E-Plus 91: AED 2.39, an increase from AED 2.38
Diesel: AED 2.52, down from AED 2.63

These increases of AED 0.01 are minimal and are unlikely to negatively or positively affect the running cost of your car. However, if you drive a diesel car, the reduction in fuel price is significant — an AED 0.11/litre drop.
