The 905hp all-electric Lotus Emeya hyper GT debuts in the UAE
It can launch from 0-100kph in 2.8secs and offer 300 km of range with a 10-minute charge
Almost a year after launching the exciting 900hp all-electric Eletre hyper SUV, Lotus Cars UAE appears to take over the electric hypercar segment in the Middle East again as it launches the Lotus Emeya in the UAE. The launch of the 2025 Lotus Emeya was hosted by Adamas Motor Group, the official dealer of Lotus Cars in the United Arab Emirates, at a private event in Dubai. The Cornea Impression was invited for the same as well.
Dubbed the “hyper-GT” model, the Emeya is Lotus’ all-electric grand tourer and it joins the brand’s model range to support Lotus’ vision of becoming an all-electric global luxury brand. Prices for the Emeya start at AED 439,000 with the first local deliveries scheduled by year-end.
Lotus offers the Emeya in three trims – Emeya, Emeya S and Emeya R with the R boasting the range-topping figures of 905hp power output and a 0-100kph acceleration time of 2.8 seconds. The Emeya features active aerodynamics comprising an active rear diffuser, an active rear spoiler and a front grille that combine to generate over 150 kilos of downforce.
The interior is built with sustainable materials as well as real metal touch points to lend it a luxurious finish. Lotus claims the Emeya will also feature a 55-inch head-up display spread across the windshield, a 15.1-inch HD OLED Lotus Hyper OS infotainment and a KEF-sourced sound system with Dolby Atmos surround sound to offer an immersive audio experience.
Lotus claims the Emeya boasts up to 610kms of range in a single charge. More importantly, it carries ultra-fast charging capabilities which can top up the Emeya from 10 to 80 per cent in just 14 minutes using a 400-kW DC fast charger, which further supports up to 600 amps, making it one of the fastest-charging EVs available today. A 10 minute charge can lend it up to 310 kms of range as well.
