Audi Q6 e-tron Gets a Range King: The New Q6 e-tron performance

This launch also shows off the cool features of the platform that underpins the Q6 e-tron – the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The Q6 e-tron performance is the first car in this family to use rear-wheel drive only, proving that PPE can be flexible and handle different engine setups.

Audi just announced another member of the Q6 e-tron family – the Q6 e-tron performance. This one’s all about going the distance, with the longest electric range out of all its siblings.

Efficiency Champion:

Forget range anxiety! The Q6 e-tron performance is built to keep you rolling. It’s got a special rear-wheel-drive setup and a brand new, extra-large 100 kWh battery (think of it as a bigger gas tank for electricity). This powerhouse combo lets it travel a whopping 641 kilometres (that’s over 400 miles!) on a single charge according to the WLTP standard. That makes it the undisputed range champion in the Q6 e-tron family. This launch also shows off the cool features of the platform that underpins the Q6 e-tron – the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). The Q6 e-tron performance is the first car in this family to use rear-wheel drive only, proving that PPE can be flexible and handle different engine setups.

Power Meets Practicality:

Don’t let the focus on range fool you – the Q6 e-tron performance isn’t a slouch. It’s got a compact but powerful electric motor that delivers a punch of 240 kW, helping it go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.6 seconds. So, you get an amazing range for everyday driving, but it can also get up and go when you need it. Even on long road trips, you won’t be stuck waiting forever to juice up. The Q6 e-tron performance can be charged for an extra 260 kilometres of range in just 10 minutes at a fast-charging station. That means you can spend less time tethered to a charger and more time enjoying the drive.

The New Family Member:

The Q6 e-tron performance joins the existing Q6 e-tron and SQ6 e-tron models, offering a new option for those who prioritize range. It’s the most affordable choice in the family with a starting price of €68,800 and deliveries starting in the third quarter of this year, alongside the SQ6 e-tron.
