Maruti Suzuki Triggers Fresh Voluntary Vehicle Recall

India’s largest carmaker – Maruti Suzuki – has triggered a new vehicle recall. It is for 676 Ertiga and XL6 MPVs, manufactured between June 24, 2022, and July 7, 2022. The company says these vehicles will require inspection, for there could be a possible issue in the front driveshaft. If there is, the car may make a distinct noise while turning. However, the problem does not impact the functioning of the vehicle. Maruti Suzuki will contact the owners of these possibly affected MPVs. Any rectification (if required) will come at no cost to the customer.
