Hamilton Introduces New Variant of the PSR
From Elton John to James Bond, the PSR gets a breath of new life
Hamilton boasts a long and deep history in watchmaking. This American-spirited Swiss watchmaker has created some of the most iconic watches such as the Hamilton Khaki lineup and the unmistakable Ventura which was also sported by Elvis Presley.
In 1970, Hamilton became the first ever watchmaker to unveil the world’s first digital timepiece known as the PSR. The PSR was not only revolutionary in terms of technology but also welcomed a futuristic design. Adored by celebrities like Elton John, Keith Richards, and even getting a feature on the wrist of Roger Moore in the James Bond movie Live and Let Die in 1973. And this year, Hamilton unveils a new version of the PSR.
Rocking the same futuristic design as the original, the Latest member of the PSR family receives an upgrade in the form of a hybrid LCD-OLED display and new green colored digits. With a quick push of a button, the PSR brings the bright green display to life.
The watch comes in a steel case with a diameter 40.8mm x 34.7mm and is water resistant up to 100 meters. The new Hamilton PSR is priced at $772 and will be available in all Hamilton stores.
