Gaze at the beauty of the Bentley Bacalar as it nears completion 

The Bentley Bacalar is arguably the most beautiful modern Bentley. Built by its bespoke coachbuilding division Mulliner, the Bacalar will serve as a launchpad for the special branch. The Bacalar is now in its final stages of hand craftsmanship with eight cars already delivered.

For those of you who’ve forgotten, here’s a reminder: only 12 Bacalars will be built with each painted in a different colour and powered by a hand-built 6.0-liter W12 engine capable of producing 650 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque. The very first Bacalar, sitting on 22 inch wheels and finished in lovely Sunset Orange colour, was delivered to its owner by Adrian Hallmark, Bentley Chairman and CEO at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car’s interior showcased a gorgeous blend of white and black colours with orange accents. That’s how we’d spec ours, if we had the money.

Building each Bacalar takes six months, right from the “long and incredibly detailed process to craft each Bacalar according to its owner’s wishes” to production.

Now, with “the ultimate expression of two-seat, open-air luxury” nearing completion and final four cars set to be delivered, Bentley has released a photograph of six Bacalars for all of us to drool at the Garage Queens.
