Ducati has updated its flagship adventure bike, Multistrada V4 Rally, for the 2026 model year. For the 2026 model year, it’s more about refining the existing formula with incremental changes and upgrades enough to keep the competition at bay.
Although the bike largely remains mechanically unchanged, it still incorporates the 1158cc Granturismo V4, featuring a peak output of 170 hp at 10,750 rpm and 121 Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm. However, Ducati engineers added a few enhancements to the engine, including the introduction of extended cylinder deactivation. Not that it didn’t use to have that earlier. Previously, it was limited to shutting off the rear cylinder bank only at idle; the system now extends deactivation during light throttle cruising, enhancing fuel efficiency and reducing heat buildup in slow or stop-and-go riding conditions.
Ducati made some adjustments to the aluminium monocoque frame, and the double-sided aluminium swingarm has a slightly higher pivot point, which Ducati claims results in more precise handling under full load.

The Biggest change is in the electronics department – Ducati upgraded a plethora of electronic aids and software systems for better efficiency. Those upgrades include a radar-backed Forward Collision Warning system and the MotoGP-developed Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) algorithm.
The Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO) system integrates data from approximately 70 sensors along with input from the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) to precisely manage electronic rider aids like traction control, wheelie control, and the lean-sensitive Electronic Combined Braking System, ensuring optimal performance and safety. The lean-sensitive combined braking system incorporates the data from the IMU and DVO to ensure optimal brake bias shift based on the load inserted by the passenger and the amount of fuel in the tank, to reduce unnecessary pitch under braking.
Ducati also made minor improvements to the existing Skyhook EVO semi-active suspension, with new sensors for smoother damping transitions. The new system also enables riders to adjust the suspension on the go, individual to the ride modes settings the bike is in. Other notable updates include a larger 280mm rear brake disc with a Brembo twin-piston floating calliper and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0.

Ducati has also introduced a fresh new colour scheme for the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally—a striking Jade Green paired with brushed aluminium and gold-colored spoked wheels.
The 2026 Ducati Multistrada V4 Rally is offered in three trims – Radar, Adventure Travel & Radar, and Full Adventure. The Radar trim gets an adaptive cruise control, blind spot detection, and forward collision warning. The Adventure travel & Radartrim adds aluminium side cases and heated seats for both rider and pillion. The Full Adventure trim comes with an Akrapovič muffler and carbon fibre front fender.
Ducati intends to make the 2026 Multistrada V4 Rally available starting from November 2025 for Europe, in December 2025 for the U.S markets, and followed by the Asian markets in January 2026.
