Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of the 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition, a refreshed version of its popular SUV. The new edition builds on the 2024 model, offering updated styling, added features, and the same trusted performance that has made the Fortuner one of India’s most trusted SUVs.
What’s Changed on the Outside?
The 2025 Fortuner Leader Edition comes with a redesigned grille, front and rear bumper spoilers, and chrome detailing. A dual-tone roof in black lends the SUV a sharper appearance, while glossy black alloy wheels and a new hood emblem enhance its road presence. Customers can choose from four colours: Attitude Black, Super White, Pearl White, and Silver.
Is the Interior any Different?
Inside, the SUV features black and maroon dual-tone seats and matching door trims. Convenience features include auto-folding outside rearview mirrors and illuminated scuff plates. Safety is enhanced with a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), which alerts drivers to changes in tyre pressure.
Is the Powertrain the Same?
The Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition is powered by the same 2.8-litre turbocharged diesel engine, which produces 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque, and is paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The SUV is available in a 4×2 rear-wheel-drive configuration, striking a balance between performance and everyday usability.

There are multiple financing options available for the Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition, including long-term funding plans, balloon finance, and extended warranty packages. Customers will also receive five years of complimentary roadside assistance, along with a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty that can be extended up to 5 years/220,000 km.
