VTOPIA ANIMA: The Futuristic Ducati Diavel V4 Custom That Looks Straight Out of a Video Game

VTOPIA ANIMA transforms the Ducati Diavel V4 into a sculpted vision of the future, blending Italian muscle with cyber-inspired aesthetics.

VTOPIA Design, a Swiss-based custom design house owned and led by renowned Italian designer Giorgio Cerrato, known for his avant-garde approach in custom motorcycle builds, heavily inspired by Sci-fi and futuristic designs, has unveiled his latest creation, the “ANIMA,” – based on the Ducati Diavel V4. The VTOPIA ANIMA is a reimagined version of the Ducati Diavel, design inspiration taken from video games, anime, and futurist aesthetics.
Ducati DiavelV4 RS, which acts as the base for the VTOPIA ANIMA, is a striking motorcycle to look at, to begin with. VTOPIA  just takes it up a few notches, breathing life into an 8-year-old’s fantasy, with its sci-fi and anime-esque aesthetics.
VTOPIA designer binned all the Ducati bodywork and replaced it with their custom-built carbon fibre bodywork. The team at VTopia has not only just replaced the body work and called it a day – they went on as far as changing the overall stance of the bike, lifting the tail section, and lowering the front end, giving the bike a very ready-to-pounce stance while standing still.
VTopia made a few mechanical changes to the ANIMA, which include a custom-built Titanium exhaust system designed by VTOPIA and built by Spark, Brembo brake systems, ANIMA-specific CNC aluminium triple clamp with integrated handlebar adjustment system, and other goodies from Motocorse, an aftermarket performance parts maker for Ducati.
In its standard form, the Ducati Diavel V4RS from the factory comes equipped with a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale, a 90-degree V4 engine that produces about 182 horsepower at 11,750 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 9,500 rpm. With a custom titanium exhaust and a few other modifications from Motocorse – VTOPIA claims the ANIMA produces about 190 horsepower, 8 more than the standard Diavel V4 RS.
As of now, VTOPIA only intends to produce 5 units of the ANIMA, each of the five being unique to its owner’s specifications, making it a collector’s grade piece with its limited run and unique individualisation. The exact date of deliveries and price is yet to be unveiled, but interested individual can contact VTOPIA to enquire and book their own ANIMA.
