TVS Apache RTR 310 #FREESTYLER

TVS Motor has finally launched its much-anticipated product, by far at least in recent years. And it’s INTERESTING!

Apache RTR 310 – The bike everyone anticipated to be good, but, perhaps not this great. Since the launch of the Apache RTR 200 in 2016 TVS has been known to equip its performance bikes with all the gimmicks its engineers possibly can while keeping the company’s accountants happy and their customer’s content.

It seems TVS has taken a step further with the All New Apache RTR 310 as if their APACHE RR310 a fared sibling of RTR310 wasn’t bonkers enough. So, TVS calls it a freestyler owing to its ability to appease different types of riders with its impressive versatility as a performance motorcycle.

So, what does it offer?

A lot! Is the answer, You cannot even begin to comprehend the lengths TVS has gone to stack up the brochure of this Motorcycle- but that’s a Hazy answer, one, which you are not looking for and excuse me as I try to include all of it.

Let’s start with the Engine

Apache RTR 310 gets a 312cc motor, the same unit as the RR310 and BMW G310r use, albeit with an increase in both power and torque for the Apache RTR 310 – and The figures Generated by the engine are 35bhp @9700 Rpm and produces a peak torque of 28Nm @6600 rpm, which is capable of taking Apache RTR 310 from 0-60kph well under 2.5 seconds and propels to the 100 mark in 7 seconds, which on paper is plenty fast enough and keeping in line with its competition.

Underpinnings and Dynamic Assists

The Freestyler – Uses the updated trellis Frame from RR310 and a new Aluminum subframe which is suspended by KYB’s USD front forks and a KYB rear Mono-Shock with sets of 17-inch wheels on both ends.

To further assist or to add more panache along with a slip and assist clutch it gets a Bi-Directional Quickshifter, cornering ABS, Corning Cruise Control, real Lift Mitigation, wheelie Control, etc The list goes on and on and with BTO variants the bike gets the option of two different types of stability programs and adjustable suspension.

OTHER QUIRK & FEATURES

Apart from features that aid in the riding capabilities of the motorcycles, some other quirks and features, which may or may not add additional value to the riding experience of the bike, but make the life of the rider a bit more pleasant and make the bike more versatile in its approach to motoring.

Apache RTR 310 starts at Rs. 2.42 Lakh and goes up to. 2.63 Lakh. Apache RTR 310 is offered in 3 variants – Arsenal Black Without the quick-shifter, Arsenal Black, and the top variant Fury Yellow comes at Rs. 2.63 Lakh
