The national airlines of the UAE and Seychelles, Etihad Airways and Air Seychelles, have decided to deepen ties by entering into a codeshare agreement. Set to go live next year (May 23, 2025), the codeshare will allow travellers to book a single ticket between all of Etihad’s destinations and Mahe. Moreover, Etihad customers will get the same benefits to destinations like Praslin and Mauritius via Air Seychelles direct services beyond its primary hub.
Specifically, the two carriers will collaborate on the six weekly flights between the capital cities. Passengers will get the same baggage allowance, complimentary food and beverages and in-flight entertainment. Etihad Guest members will also earn miles on each flight they take.
