Transavia Gets Its First Airbus A320Neo

Last month, Transavia took delivery of its first Airbus A321Neo on lease from Air Lease Corporation. The low-cost carrier’s French arm has now inducted its first Airbus A320Neo, on lease from Avolon. A SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) blend powered the aircraft’s delivery flight from Airbus’ manufacturing site in Toulouse to Paris-Orly.

The carrier’s A320Neo has an 186-seat single-class configuration and features the new-gen CFM International LEAP-1A engines and Sharklets. Airbus’ Airspace XL bins raise the practicality quotient, providing 40 per cent more storage space than the standard stacks. Also, every seat has its own USB-C port. It will be used by Transavia France on its domestic network and across its European and Mediterranean routes.
