The FIM World Supercross Championship Gears Up for a Thrilling Finale in Abu Dhabi

The FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) is ready to ignite the dirt track once again in 2024, culminating in a dramatic finale at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi. This announcement by SX Global, the official promoter of the series, promises an action-packed season filled with high-octane competition.

Following a phenomenal debut season in 2022, WSX expanded its reach in 2023, captivating audiences worldwide. German motorcycle superstar Ken Roczen emerged victorious, securing his second WSX World Championship title. Meanwhile, Britain’s Max Anstie etched his name in history by claiming the SX2 World Championship crown.

Building on this success, the 2024 season promises another chapter of heart-stopping racing. Abu Dhabi, having hosted a crowd-pleasing event in 2023, will once again be the centre stage for the championship finale on December 4th. This strategic scheduling, just four days before the Formula One Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, is poised to attract a global audience of motorsport enthusiasts.

The season kicks off on October 26th at the BC Place stadium in Vancouver, Canada. The excitement then revs up in Perth, Australia, with a double-header event at HBF Park on November 23rd and 24th. Following this Australian leg, the championship culminates in the highly anticipated Abu Dhabi finale, where a new World Champion will be crowned.
