The Black Edition Treatment Is Now Available For The Bentley Continental GT And Flying Spur

The specification combines a high-performance hybrid powertrain, an Active Performance chassis, and a sports exhaust system for the GT Speed

Bentley has released the Black Edition for the Continental GT, Continental GTC, and Flying Spur. These new Bentley models combine the Black Line specification’s dark, bold, and muscular visual impact with a 680 hp powertrain and chassis designed for high performance. Unique exterior features include new gloss black “Winged B” badges front and rear, Mandarin brake callipers, and Black Edition badging, revealing the dark side of the Continental GT and Flying Spur families.

The Black Edition models combine the new high-performance hybrid powertrain with Bentley‘s Active Performance chassis. This last feature was previously only available on Speed models. The powertrain combines a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a powerful electric motor, producing a combined output of 680 hp and 930 Nm, delivering performance that surpasses the previous generation GT Speed.

Individual features include a gloss black matrix grille and bumper grilles, a Beluga black front splitter, and gloss black metal inserts. The car also has 22-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels finished in gloss black, with the option of a two-tone black and bright machined finish. Mandarin orange brake callipers are also free of charge on all three models, adding a subtle touch of contrast.

Inside, the cabin features “Black Edition” logo embroidery on the front headrests of Continental models and all four headrests of Flying Spur models. The car also features piano black wood trim, “Black Edition” pedals, and contrast stitching in the owner’s choice of colour. Comfort seats, mood lighting, the Bentley Rotating Display, sports pedals, and mood lighting are all part of the comprehensive specification.

The Continental GT accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds, while the Continental GT Convertible and Flying Spur reach the same figure in 3.9 seconds. All models have an electric-only range of 80 km.

Bentley’s high-performance active chassis technology has only been offered in the new Black Edition models with the 782 hp Speed. This technology allows drivers to enjoy a wider range of dynamic capabilities, from Comfort and Bentley modes to the performance-focused Sport mode.

Production at Bentley’s Dream Factory will be limited to just 400 units worldwide.
