Tesla Updates 2025 Model S And Model X With Free Supercharging In the UAE

New aerodynamic wheel designs, an updated front end on the Model S with more cabin space on the Model X round up some of the refinements

It’s been around a decade since Tesla introduced the Model S and Model X to the world. 2021 saw Tesla offer a major generation upgrade to both its EVs with every aspect getting a redesign including a new powertrain, new chassis, new exteriors and interiors. Fast forward to late 2025, Tesla has now introduced further refinements to both, Model S and the Model X to keep them fresh and relevant in the modern EV-centric world. And now, both the refreshed Tesla Model S and Tesla Model X EVs are available to buy in the UAE.

2025 Tesla Model S: UAE Prices and Trims

Tesla is now offering the refreshed Model S in the UAE with two trim options. The base Model S is called the All-Wheel-Drive trim, featuring 744 km of claimed range, a 0-100kph sprint time of 3.2 seconds, top speed of 240kph, and 19-inch Magnetite wheels as standard. The top-spec Model S Plaid trim now comes with 611 km of claimed range, 21-inch Velarium wheels as standard, a hypercar-shaming 0-100kph acceleration time of just 2.1 seconds, and a 262 kmph top speed, which can be further extended to 322 kmph when opting for the optional Carbon-Ceramic Brake Kit. Prices for the new refreshed Tesla Model S start at AED 389,990.

2025 Tesla Model X: UAE Prices and Trims

The two-trim treatment has been extended to the new and refreshed Tesla Model X in the UAE. The new Tesla Model X boasts a starting price of AED 409,990 with two trims, called All-Wheel-Drive and Plaid on offer. The former gets a claimed range of 600kms, a 3.9 second sprint time from standstill to 100kph and a 240kph top speed, whereas the latter is inclined more towards performance, entailing a 0-100 kmph time of 2.6 seconds, a top speed of 262 kmph, with a 567km claimed range figure. Both trims can be had with 22-inch Machina wheels as an optional extra.

Refinements on the 2025 Model S and Model X

Apart from the usual Over-The-Air software updates, the new 2025 Tesla Model S and Model X features a host of refinements around the powertrain efficiency, cabin experience, exterior and interior design, and added convenience features. Though the biggest upgrade comes in the form of unlimited free supercharging for both cars.

Other changes include a quieter cabin experience courtesy of new sound-absorbent insulation materials embedded within the cabin for improved insulation from road and wind noise. Active noise cancellation has also been enhanced on both cars.

Cosmetically, a host of new wheel designs are on offer, ranging from 19-22 inches across the range for both cars. The new Model S Plaid specifically benefits from a new front fascia, a front splitter for improved high-speed stability, a new rear fascia, a Carbon Fiber spoiler for improved high-speed stability, and a diffuser with updated styling for improved aerodynamics. The flagship sedan from Tesla further enjoys new stabilization components for improved high-speed handling and carbon-wrapped rotors that aid drive unit efficiency.

While on the subject of efficiency, Tesla now equips both Model S and Model X with new low-resistance tires and aerodynamic wheel designs. Newly added features like an updated user interface, front fascia camera, blind spot indicator, and adaptive headlights are further bound to make the driving experience more convenient and efficient.

The comfort aspect also receives an upgrade with a revised and retuned air suspension that enhances ride comfort. Plus, the Model X specifically benefits from a more spacious third row now with added shoulder space between the passengers.
