Tata Nexon EV Army Now 50K Strong

India’s bestselling EV – the Tata Nexon EV – has surpassed the 50,000 sales milestone. The Nexon EV was launched in 2020, and its presence has increased over time, presently being sold in over 500 cities nationwide. Tata Motors confirms that all units sold have collectively covered more than 900 million kilometres. On average, Nexon EV owners drive 6.3 million kilometres per month, with intercity and outstation trips ranging from 100 to 400km. Critical support came from the charging network infrastructure, which has grown by over 1,500 per cent between FY21 and FY23. Tata has more than 6,000 charging stations in the country.
