Samsung TV Plus Launches in UAE, Offering Free Streaming Content

Samsung TV Plus is seamlessly integrated into the Samsung TV platform, offering a user-friendly interface and easy content discovery.

Samsung Gulf Electronics has introduced Samsung TV Plus, a free ad-supported streaming service, to its UAE audience. Available on Samsung TVs from 2022 onwards, with plans to expand to older models, the service offers a diverse range of live channels spanning news, sports, entertainment, and more.

Initially launching with 20 channels, Samsung TV Plus plans to expand its content library in the coming months. The service features both local and international content, including channels from MBC’s Shahid, Zee Entertainment, BBC Studios, and Nature Time.

Samsung TV Plus is seamlessly integrated into the Samsung TV platform, offering a user-friendly interface and easy content discovery. The service also prioritizes local preferences with a right-to-left interface for Arabic users.

Nikola Aksentijevic, Director and Head of Visual Display Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, expressed excitement about the launch and emphasized the company’s commitment to bringing premium free entertainment to the region. Samsung aims to collaborate with content providers to curate a diverse content library tailored to the tastes of UAE audiences.

Samsung TVs, powered by the Tizen operating system, offer advanced features like AI Upscaling Pro and AI Motion Enhancer Pro, enhancing the overall viewing experience. The launch of Samsung TV Plus marks another step in Samsung’s commitment to delivering high-quality content and exceptional viewing experiences to its global user base.
