Sail GP is an international sailing competition where high-performing athletes use F50 foiling catamarans in teams to compete against each other across a season of multiple Grand Prix worldwide. For the layman, SailGP is the boat racing equivalent of Formula1.

For their 7th Grand Prix this season, Sail GP debuts in Dubai. With three different winners in the last three events, the title race has never been this close as the sport’s best athletes prepare for the inaugural Dubai Sail Grand Prix presented by P&O Marinas. 9 teams will take part in this Grand Prix, which are Australia, Canada, Denmark, France, Great Britain, New Zealand, Spain, Switzerland, and the United States.

The teams made their final preparations on the official practice day. At the pre-race press conference, drivers predicted a thrilling weekend of racing on the tightest race course so far this season.
