Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts Launched Globally, Limited to 100 Units Worldwide

Royal Enfield launches the Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts as a global limited edition, capped at 100 units worldwide with exclusive custom-inspired styling and a premium finish.

What is the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts?

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts is a limited-edition version of the Shotgun 650 created in collaboration with Taiwanese custom motorcycle workshop Rough Crafts. The motorcycle is based on Royal Enfield’s Shotgun 650 platform; Royal Enfield is presenting it as a factory-built special edition rather than a regular accessory package or dealer modification.

What makes it different from the standard Shotgun 650?

The biggest difference is primarily focused on the motorcycle’s styling, along with the choice of premium fit and finish. The Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts gets a Gloss Jet Black and Matt Stealth Black finish, gold-leaf striping, a cast brass tank badge, a quilted leather seat, contrast-cut alloy wheels, bar-end mirrors, and gold-finished fork tubes.

Selective incorporation of these premium materials gives the bike a far more handcrafted and custom look than the regular Shotgun 650. Royal Enfield has also included a signed, limited-edition art print from Rough Crafts founder Winston Yeh.

What are the key engine specs?

The Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts continues with the same 648cc parallel-twin engine used across Royal Enfield’s 650 platform. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox and produces around 47 PS and 52.3 Nm of torque, tuned for a relaxed, torquey character.

The Rough Crafts edition does not try to be a performance special; rather, the emphasis is on the usable mid-range pull and easy everyday rideability.

What chassis, suspension, and braking hardware does the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts use?

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts features a steel tubular spine frame, suspended by a Showa Separate Function Big Piston upside-down fork with 120 mm of travel at the front, while the rear uses twin shock absorbers with preload adjustment and 90 mm of travel. The suspension hardware geometry has been tuned for balanced street riding and daily commuting.

What is Rough Crafts?

Rough Crafts is a custom motorcycle workshop led by Winston Yeh from Taiwan. Rough Crafts is known for dark, aggressive design language with an immaculate level of craftsmanship and attention-to-detail bike builds.

Over the years, Rough Crafts has built a name for itself in the custom-built motorcycle scene with its signature blacked-out finishes and premium materials. This design philosophy is clearly reflected in the Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts.

What is the pricing and global availability of the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts?

Globally, Royal Enfield has limited the motorcycle to 100 units, allocating 25 units each for India, Europe, North America, and APAC. In India, the Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 x Rough Crafts is priced at Rs 5.75 lakh ex-showroom. That makes it significantly more expensive than the standard Shotgun 650, but the price reflects the limited production run and collector appeal, along with premium detailing.
