Porsche is offering a special series of Taycan and Cayenne Black Edition models enhanced with black accents. These special models feature numerous high-quality equipment details. There are also multiple driving options to choose from. The special edition models were present at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed in the UK, with deliveries scheduled to begin in the second half of the year.
The black accents underline the sporty and elegant appearance of the Black Edition models. The larger Performance Battery Plus, which is optionally available on the Taycan and Taycan 4, is available as standard on the Black Edition models. The increased gross energy capacity of 105 kWh enhances driving performance and the WLTP range. The base Black Edition sports sedan, which produces up to 435 hp, offers a range of up to 668 kilometers—an increase of 76 km, or 12%, over the standard model.
Porsche also adds Lane Change Assist, Surround View, including Active Park Assist, 21-inch wheels with full-colour Porsche centre caps, HD Matrix LED headlights (tinted in the Cayenne Black Edition), LED door lights featuring the Porsche logo, comfort seats in the front (14-way electric adjustment and memory function) with the Porsche logo on the headrests, a BOSE surround sound system including Dolby Atmos (with electric sports sound in the Taycan), a storage package, and black soft-touch leather upholstery. The Taycan also features an exclusive “Black Edition” badge on the centre console.
Although it may be the Black Edition, when customising these special models, all exterior paint colours from the Shadow range can be selected at no additional charge. For the Taycan, these include Jet Black Metallic, Volcano Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Ice Grey Metallic. For the Cayenne, the available colours include Quartzite Grey Metallic, Vanadium Grey Metallic, Dolomite Silver Metallic, and Carrara White Metallic.
Customers can also choose from the Legends, Dreams, and Contrasts categories, or take advantage of the comprehensive personalisation options offered by the Paint by Sample and Paint by Sample Plus programmes. Interior design options are also available, including dark grey leather or a two-tone design.
Also, customers can add a unique touch to their vehicle with the help of the Sundrawn programme. Numerous interior components can be customised, including the vehicle keys and key fob, the reversible trunk mat, floor mats, the vehicle document folder, the centre console storage compartment cover, and the door sill protectors.
