Peugeot presented its new Polygon Concept, embodying a vision of dynamism and innovation, with technologies that will appear in Peugeot production vehicles starting in 2027.
One of the Polygon’s most notable innovations is the Hypersquare system, which completely redesigns the steering wheel and works with Steer-by-Wire electronic steering technology, eliminating the mechanical link between the steering and the wheels. This system enables precise, rapid manoeuvres by reducing the number of traditional wheel rotations and adjusting the steering ratio based on speed. Hypersquare delivers exact responses at high speeds and exceptional comfort during parking and manoeuvring.
As for the interior, it features an immersive, revolutionary design in which the windscreen becomes a giant display screen showing all information, which can be customised by driving mode (Cruise, Fun, Hyper). The four-spoke steering wheel provides easy access to controls, while the Micro-LED display displays information both inside and out, creating a seamless, visual experience for everyone.
The front fascia and three-claw headlights feature Micro-LED technology, reinforcing Peugeot’s visual identity and giving it a commanding presence on the road. The exterior design features clean, geometric lines and playful colour accents on the body, seats, and wheels. The side screen on the C-pillar provides innovative charging information.
The interior elements and steering wheel are easily customisable, with parts that can be quickly replaced to update the car to suit the driver’s tastes and daily needs. 3D-printed seats offer maximum comfort with a stylish design, while the dashboard and windshield enhance the feeling of spaciousness.
Polygon utilises recycled materials, such as plastic (R-PET), while reducing the number of components to decrease weight and improve efficiency. Butterfly doors and easily replaceable wheel covers extend the car’s lifespan and allow for continuous evolution with its owner.
The Polygon Concept comes in three different configurations: the elegant Urban for the city, the sporty, and the powerful Explorer designed for adventure. The Polygon Concept is not just a concept car, but a complete experience that combines innovation, fun, and customisation, offering a clear glimpse into Peugeot’s future vehicles.
