Oris has introduced the Ocean-Green Divers Sixty-Five Chronograph, a “neo vintage” take on a modern two-register chronograph. It joins the brand’s Sixty-Five Chronograph lineup.

Hours and minutes. Small seconds on subdial at 9 o’clock with stop seconds function.

Image: The deep ocean-green detailing on the dial and bezel are inspired from nature, “particularly the forested hills and lush landscapes surrounding the Oris Hölstein factory.” Notice the brand’s name embossed on the screw-in security crown at 3 o’clock, the “vintage-inspired pump chronograph pushers” and the Oris Shield shaped hour-marker at 12 o’clock. Overall a great looking watch.
Silver-grey coloured dial with a sunburst pattern. Dark green subdials.
Hands and applied hour-markers are coated with Super-LumiNova.
Case

Multi-piece case is made from stainless steel. Rotating bezel (unidirectional) features a dark green aluminum insert with a minutes scale. Case diameter: 40 mm. Thickness: 15.40 mm. Lug-to-lug distance: 48 mm. Lug width: 20 mm.
Dial side features a sapphire crystal, domed on both sides, with anti-reflective coating on the inside. Stainless steel caseback is screwed to the main case. Water resistant up to 10 bar or approximately 100 metres.
Watch is available in two versions: A black Cervo Volante deer leather strap with a stainless steel buckle and a stainless steel bracelet with a folding clasp.
Movement
Powered by Oris calibre 771-1, a mechanical automatic movement that drives the hours, minutes, small seconds with stop seconds function, and chronograph functions. Diameter: 30 mm or 13 ¼ lignes. Jewels: 27. Frequency: 28,800 vph or 4 Hz. Power reserve: 62 hours.
The movement is based on Sellita’s SW510 family of chronograph movements. It is a cam operated chronograph movement.
