Audi is expanding its A6 model range with two plug-in hybrid models that combine maximum efficiency, superior comfort, and powerful performance. The A6 Avant e-hybrid quattro and the A6 Sedan e-hybrid quattro can be ordered in two power outputs. The new generation of high-voltage batteries in the plug-in hybrids has approximately 45 percent more capacity than its predecessor, enabling a travel distance of over 100 kilometres on electric power. If the battery is empty, a full charge takes only two and a half hours.
Both models feature a long wheelbase, an elongated hood, and a wide track. The A6 Sedan e-hybrid quattro features a sweeping curve at the top of the window, while the Avant has a more sculpted rear end, an aerodynamically sculpted surround, and a roof-edge spoiler. Both models exude a powerful presence thanks to the striking taillights, wide light bar, and Audi rings mounted above.
Both cars are powered by a 2.0-litre TFSI engine producing 252 hp and an electric motor producing up to 140 hp. The 362 hp and 500 Nm Avant and Sedan models accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 5.3 seconds, while the 295 hp and 450 Nm models accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.0 seconds.
