One of the top airlines in the world, Qatar Airways, is all set to offer increased flight frequencies to several global destinations during the upcoming winter season. More weekly services will directly and positively impact the travellers with additional flexibility while creating itineraries through Doha, Qatar Airways’ home hub. Hamad International Airport in Qatar’s capital has also claimed accolades for its service and efficiency in the Middle East.
So, which destinations will Qatar Airways travel to more frequently this winter? Here’s the list:
- Abu Dhabi, UAE: The airline will operate up to 6 daily flights, up from 5.
- Berlin, Germany: Qatar Airways will increase the weekly flight count from 18 to up to 21.
- Cape Town, South Africa: Qatar’s flag carrier will fly up to 12 weekly flights, up from 10.
- Casablanca, Morocco: Instead of operating 4 weekly flights, Qatar Airways will fly 5.
- Dublin, Ireland: From 14 weekly flights, the count will jump to 17 for Qatar Airways.
- Frankfurt, Germany: The carrier has planned for up to 21 weekly services, up from 18.
- Johannesburg, South Africa: Qatar Airways will fly 18 weekly flights instead of 14.
- London Heathrow, England: The airline will increase its daily flight count from 8 to up to 10.
- Madrid, Spain: The airline has increased the weekly flight count from 14 to 17.
- Malé, Maldives: Qatar Airways will fly up to 4 weekly flights, up from 3.
- Manchester, England: The carrier has planned up to 24 weekly flights, up from 21.
- Phuket, Thailand: Instead of operating 3 daily flights, Qatar Airways will fly up to 4.
- São Paulo, Brazil: The weekly flight count will jump from 14 to 18.
- Sharjah, UAE: Up to seven daily services planned, up from three.
- Tokyo Narita, Japan: The airline will operate up to 14 weekly flights, up from 11.
- Toronto, Canada: Seven weekly services, instead of five.
Qatar Airways’ fleet of aircraft includes 54 Boeing 777 widebodies that are equipped with Starlink on-board Wi-Fi services, which is free for all passengers. No other airline in the world has such a large widebody fleet with Starlink. Qatar Airways is also the only carrier in the MENA region to offer this service. The airline is presently busy equipping its Airbus A350 fleet with the same high-speed internet service.
