Menzies And KLM Renew Business Ties At Amsterdam Airport

The Dutch flag carrier, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, and Menzies Aviation, a global service provider to several airports and airlines, have extended their long-standing partnership at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol (AMS). It is a contract for cargo and ground handling services at the main international airport in the Netherlands.

Per the agreement, Menzies will provide ramp handling services and a cargo warehouse for all KLM/Martinair freighter operations at the said airport for the next five years. Menzies claims that this renewal of the partnership with KLM will see its teams manage nearly 600 aircraft turns and handle about 100,000 tonnes of cargo annually.

The extension of their partnership isn’t surprising as their business relations date back decades. Presently, Menzies works with the carrier at over ten locations across Europe, Africa, Latin America and India.
