Athletic apparel retailer lululemon has partnered with seven-time Formula 1™ World Champion Lewis Hamilton to launch the Metal Vent Tech collection—its first motorsport collaboration. As the Middle East gears up for an action-packed F1 season, this high-performance collection which is said to blend technical innovation with world-class athleticism, has been unveiled for those who train as intensely as they live.
Metal Vent Tech collection features
The Metal Vent Tech collection features seamless construction, sweat-wicking and breathable fabric, and a flexible, tailored fit—minimising distractions so Lewis Hamilton can stay focused. Built for high-intensity performance, it offers enhanced breathability and streamlined design. Thanks to Silverescent™ technology powered by X-STATIC®, the fabric resists the growth of odour-causing bacteria, allowing for more wears and less frequent washing. The shirts feature a slim fit, designed to skim the body from chest to waist, and are available in both short-sleeve and long-sleeve styles.
Lewis Hamilton, seven-time World Champion and lululemon Ambassador said:
“The highest praise I can give to my training clothes is that I don’t think about them when I’m working out. Metal Vent Tech keeps me comfortable so I can stay in the zone.”
Beyond the racetrack, Hamilton is known for his bold style and advocacy for diversity, equity, and inclusion, which are values said to be reflected in his lululemon collaboration. lululemon’s latest Ambassador, Hamilton joins a global roster that includes PGA golfers Min Woo Lee and Max Homa, ATP tennis pro Frances Tiafoe, WTA tennis pro Leylah Fernandez, NFL Wide Receiver DK Metcalf, NBA player Jordan Clarkson, and NHL player Connor Bedard.
The Metal Vent Tech Short-Sleeve Shirt is available on the lululemon website at a starting price of AED 360, while the Metal Vent Tech Short-Sleeve Shirt 2.0 starts at AED 365 and the Metal Vent Tech Long-Sleeve Shirt is priced at AED 410.
