Polish flag carrier LOT Polish Airlines has announced a new route as part of its expanding network. Starting on November 24, 2025, the airline will initiate a direct service from Warsaw to Stavanger, Norway, four times weekly. Stavanger, renowned for its breathtaking fjords—one of Scandinavia’s most remarkable natural attractions—also possesses a rich cultural heritage. Additionally, Stavanger is regarded as the culinary capital of Norway, providing visitors with a distinctive gastronomic experience.
Flight LO489 will depart from Warsaw at 08:10 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Those travelling in the opposite direction can take LOT Polish Airlines flight LO490, which leaves Stavanger at 11:25 on the same days. The per-sector flight time will be approximately two hours, with LOT Polish Airlines using a Boeing 737 MAX 8 narrowbody to ferry travellers.
