LOT Polish Airlines Confirms Revival Of The Warsaw-Lyon Route

To cater to the rise in demand for nonstop flights between Poland and Central and Eastern France, LOT Polish Airlines has announced the reintroduction of the Warsaw-Lyon route. The direct connection between the two cities will be re-established on September 30, 2024. Starting from that date, the flag carrier of Poland will operate six flights weekly between its primary hub and the capital of the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.

The services will run on all days except Saturday. On Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, flight LO345 will depart Warsaw at 08:10, while the return leg – LO346 – will leave Lyon at 11:20. If those timings don’t work, perhaps travelling one of the remaining three days may fit better. On Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, the LOT Polish Airlines flight LO347 leaves Warsaw at 16:00, whereas the return service – LO348 – departs from Lyon–Saint Exupéry Airport at 19:10 (all times mentioned are local).

The flight time for each sector will be approximately 2 hours and 20 minutes. The carrier will operate an Embraer 195 aircraft on this route.
