Station wagons are an endangered species. Today, only eight are still in production worldwide. High-performance station wagons? They’re an even smaller niche, rarer than hypercars. Gone are the likes of the Volvo 850R, Mercedes-Benz S123 Estate, and BMW E34 M5 Touring.
Petrolheads looking at launching from 0-100 km/h as quickly as a supercar while packing the family and luggage for the weekend in 2025 have just three new cars to choose from. The Audi RS6 Avant, BMW M3 Touring, and the new BMW M5 Touring make up your shortlist. But what if you crave something more? More power, more aggression, and a color scheme that’s in-your-face? Introducing the G-Power G3M Bi-Turbo 800 Touring — a limited, 25-unit production super wagon.
G-Power’s Legacy: Extreme Performance BMWs
G-Power isn’t just another tuner slapping bigger turbos onto BMWs. Established in 1983 and based in Bavaria, like BMW, G-Power has been extracting mind-blowing performance from Bee-Em-Way machines for over four decades. One of its first major projects was an Evo supercharger system for the E36 M3, boosting it from 286 hp to a monstrous 400 hp.
But the brand’s most infamous work came in the 2000s when it took BMW’s legendary 5.0-litre V10 from the E60 M5 and turned it into an absolute beast. G-Power even went as far as swapping the M5’s engine into an M3 coupe, creating the G3 V10 CSL — a Frankenstein monster of speed. Then came the M5 Hurricane RR, a twin-supercharged V10 M5 with 788 hp, which still holds the world record for the fastest sedan at 372 km/h. So, when G-Power announces a new project, you can bet it’s going to be something special.
More Power, More Drama — The G3M Bi-Turbo 800 Touring
In 2024, G-Power unleashed the G3M Bi-Turbo, a wild BMW M3 Touring-based machine pushing out 710 hp. That was already more powerful than a Lamborghini Huracán Evo, but apparently, that wasn’t enough. The new limited-edition G3M Bi-Turbo 800 Touring turns everything up to eleven, cranking out a staggering 800hp and 900Nm.
At the heart of this insanity is BMW’s S58 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine, extensively reworked by G-Power. Key upgrades include larger turbine and compressor housings, optimized turbine and compressor wheels, and enhanced airflow for reduced backpressure and exhaust temperatures. This is paired with the GP-800 performance software and a thunderous G-Power Deeptone exhaust system with high-flow 200-cell metallic catalytic converters. The result? A top speed of 330km/h and acceleration that will leave most supercars in its rearview mirror.
Aggressive Styling
The G3M Bi-Turbo 800 Touring looks every bit as menacing as its performance. Drenched in a striking Voodoo Blue paint job, it stands out immediately, complemented by a set of 21-inch lightweight Hurricane RR alloy wheels finished in a front-polished orange. If that’s too flashy, G-Power also offers Hurricane RS wheels as an alternative.
The aggressive stance is further enhanced by G-Power’s carbon fiber Venturi hood, which optimizes engine thermal management. Additional carbon fiber elements, including the GP-Dynamic RR front spoiler, GP-Dynamic RR kidney grilles, and GP-Shuriken front corners, add to the aerodynamics and visual drama. Under the hood, a GP-Orange carbon engine cover completes the look, making it clear this is no ordinary M3 Touring.
An Interior To Match
Inside, the G3M Bi-Turbo 800 Touring remains true to its performance DNA. Unique G-Power touches include special badging and premium velour floor mats, while optional extras such as a G-Power carbon fiber LED steering wheel are available for those who want a truly bespoke experience.
A Rare Breed
Only 25 units of the G3M Bi-Turbo 800 Touring will be produced, making it a highly exclusive machine reserved for the most dedicated enthusiasts. If you love fast wagons, this is one of the wildest to ever exist. It’s a reminder that even in an era dominated by SUVs and electrification, there are still mad scientists out there willing to build family-friendly supercars. And for that, G-Power deserves all the respect in the world.
