Korean Air Will Launch Direct Flights To Kobe In April

It’ll be a twice-daily affair with the airline’s home hub at the other end.

The flag carrier of Korea, Korean Air, has announced a new route that will join its expanding network in a few weeks. Starting April 18, 2025, the airline will launch a nonstop service between Seoul Incheon and Kobe, Japan. Never before has a Korean carrier operated on this route.

The newly confirmed route will run twice daily. The first outbound flight – KE731 – will depart from Seoul Incheon at 08:25 and arrive in Kobe at 10:00. The return leg – KE732 – will fly out of Kobe and land in the Korean capital at 11:00 and 13:00, respectively. Those who don’t prefer those timings can consider the other to-and-fro connection. Flight KE733 will leave Seoul at 15:50 and land in Kobe at 17:30. After a halt of about an hour, flight KE734 will take to the skies, leaving Kobe at 18:30 and landing in Seoul at 20:40. All times mentioned are local, and the flight time will be approximately 2 hours per sector.

Kobe is one of the key international trade hubs in Japan. Travellers also easily access several other nearby towns, such as Osaka, Kyoto, Nara, Himeji, and Okayama, all reachable by road within an hour.
