Jaeger-LeCoultre celebrated the wonderful Reverso in style

The ‘Reverso Stories’ Pop-Up was held during 4th – 16th November in Dubai.

Jaeger-LeCoutre (JLC) recently hosted the ‘Reverso Stories’ Pop-Up in the Dubai Design District. The pop-up was an immersive experience that included the following:

  • ‘Reverso Stories’ – It told the story of the Reverso.
Image: “Told in four chapters – Story of an Icon, Story of Style & Design, Story of Innovation and Story of Craftsmanship – the Reverso’s story is illustrated by emblematic models, from rarely seen archive timepieces to contemporary High Jewellery ones, miniature-painted pieces and highlights of current collections such as  the world’s first wristwatch with four functioning faces – the Reverso Hybris Mechanica Calibre 185 Quadriptyque – achieving an unparalleled feat with 11 complications across four dials.”
  • It unveiled the latest interpretation of the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179.
Image: “Initially created in 2023, the Reverso Hybris Artistica Calibre 179 epitomises the philosophy of the Hybris collection. In 2025, Jaeger-LeCoultre unveils a new interpretation, featuring black hand-lacquered dials on both front and reverse, set within an 18K pink gold (750/1000) case, limited to just 10 pieces.”
  • It reinvented the classical arts by featuring three of the brand’s Made of Makers™ programme. They included Reverso Webcomic by Olivecoat, pâtissière Nina Métayer at the 1931 Café, and award-winning Emirati Architect Abdalla Almulla’s 30 Sunsets.

Our Thoughts

An Art Deco creation, Jaeger-LeCoultre’s Reverso is among the most iconic horological designs of all time. Its right up there with Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak, Cartier’s Tank, Rolex’s Submariner, and Patek Philippe’s Calatrava, among few others.

Whether you are seeking a relatively accessible two-or-three hand watch (Monoface or Duoface), a complication such as a world time or chronograph, a grand complication such as a tourbillon, a bejewelled piece, or a miniature painting, the Reverso collection has you covered. Its design is an exceptional platform for the brand to tinker with its horological, jewellery, and artistic prowess. It is only fitting that they celebrated it by hosting the ‘Reverso Stories’ Pop-Up. Initiatives such as this keeps the design’s magic alive, by keeping existing customers hooked and enticing new ones to the brand.
