What is the CB750 Hornet?
The CB750 Hornet is Honda’s middleweight streetfighter based on Honda’s 755cc platform. It is aimed at riders who want a sharp naked motorcycle that delivers strong performance on city streets and twisty back roads.

The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch is built on a lightweight steel diamond frame, offering a sharp 25-degree rake for agile handling. The CB750 Hornet E-Clutch comes with 41mm Showa SFF-BP inverted forks at the front and a Pro-Linker Monoshock at the rear with preload adjustment.
Braking is handled by a pair of 296mm radial-mounted front discs and a 240mm disc at the rear. As for the features, the motorcycle comes with a standard 5-inch TFT display, throttle-by-wire technology with three ride modes plus an additional customisable mode and Honda Selectable Torque Control with integrated wheelie control.

The XL750 Transalp E- Clutch is a versatile, middleweight adventure touring motorcycle based on Honda’s 755cc platform. The motorcycle is engineered to handle a mix of environments, from daily city commutes and long highway stretches to rough off-road trails.
What mechanical hardware and features does the Honda XL750 Transalp E-Clutch come with?
The Honda XL750 Transalp E-Clutch incorporates a chassis specifically tuned for off-road and touring demands, featuring long-travel suspension from Showa riding on large spoked wheels. Dual front disc brakes and a rear disc, but with the added ability to switch off the rear ABS for off-road riding.
On the features front, the motorcycle offers a 5-inch TFT display with Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity. Five distinct riding modes and Honda’s HSTC traction control with an off-road-specific mode.
What powers both motorcycles?
Both the Honda CB750 Hornet and XL750 Transalp E-Clutch share the same engine platform: a 755cc, liquid-cooled, 8-valve, parallel-twin engine. This parallel twin produces 90.5 bhp of power at 9,500 rpm and 75Nm of peak torque at 7,250. Both motorcycles utilise a 6-speed gearbox integrated with the new E-Clutch technology.
