Have you heard about the “Kings of the Baggers” racing series? It has to be the single outrageous motorcycle series on the planet right now and the machines participating in it are even more outrageous. The MotoAmerica Mission King of the Baggers series is a racing series where a bunch of riders take outlandishly heavy Cruiser motorcycles from Harley Davidson and Indian around a race track defying pre-consummed notion of what was physically possible with these relaxed and bulky cruisers.
To celebrate their association with the series Harley Davidson has unveiled a limited edition CVO Road Glide RR cruiser – which is limited to 131 units ever; also marking it to be the most powerful Harley Davidson product to ever go on sale.
ENGINE
The Limited edition Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide RR is powered by the 2.1 litres Screamin’ Eagle Milwaukee-Eight V-Twin engine, the most powerful production engine ever fitted into a Harley Davidson motorcycle. The Engine is capable of churning out 153 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and a peak torque of 204 Nm. It’s the same engine that is also found in the Harley Davidson Factory Racing Road Glides, that’s tearing up the race tracks all around America.
The Screamin’ Eagle incorporates state-of-the-art engine components that aim at making the engine more durable and powerful – components such as CNC port heads high-performance camshafts and a CNC high-performance aluminium air intake all borrowed from the factory race bike.
Another component which has been co-developed alongside the factory team is the 2 1 lightweight Akrapovic exhaust system which is shielded by carbon fibre and other exotic materials, allowing for some weight savings alongside a slight gain in performance.
DESIGN AND CHASSIS
The Harley Dvidson CVO Road Glide RR is naturally heavily inspired by the Harley Davidson’s 2025 Factory Race Bike: emulating the same graphics and colour medley as the factory race bike.
On the vehicle performance dynamic and chassis side Harley Davidson CVO Road Glide RR is equipped with an aluminium frame developed by the Harley Davidson factory Race team, the billet aluminium frame is suspended by a highly advanced and carefully curated performance-oriented fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, 43 mm Ohlins FGR at the front and Ohlins remote reservoir at the back, enabling the might beast to take corners with aggressiveness and tact.
To make the mighty CVO Road Glide RR stop, Harley Davidson has equipped it with a highly sophisticated Brembo GP4-rx braking system, which according to Harley Davidson provides the equivalent stopping power as the Moto GP prototype racers.
TECH AND FEATURES
Harley Davidson has loaded up the feature list of the CVO Road Glide RR with impressive equipment and fancy tech that has been developed on the track such as the nine ride modes, ABS, traction control; and other fancy gizmos such as a 12.3-inch digital touchscreen infotainment and instrument system which is loaded up various features alongside showing the tachometer and speedometer and other ride and vehicle information for the rider. All this could be yours if you can get your name up on the waiting list for only $110,00.
