GMC has unveiled the redesigned 2025 Terrain, marking a significant departure from its predecessor. The new model boasts a bolder, more truck-like appearance, aiming to elevate its position in the compact SUV segment.
The 2025 Terrain’s exterior showcases a fresh design language, characterized by a prominent grille that echoes GMC’s larger truck models. The new headlamps and taillamps lend a modern and sophisticated look to the SUV. Inside, the cabin has been revamped with a focus on technology and comfort. A standard 15-inch infotainment touchscreen dominates the dashboard, providing intuitive controls and access to a range of features.
Safety is a paramount concern for GMC, and the 2025 Terrain reflects this commitment. The SUV comes standard with over 15 driver assistance features, including automatic emergency braking, pedestrian and cyclist detection, and blind-zone assist. Optional features such as HD Surround Vision and a rear camera mirror enhance visibility and safety further.
The 2025 Terrain will be available in three trims: Elevation, AT4, and Denali. The base Elevation trim offers a solid foundation with standard features like heated seats and a heated steering wheel. The AT4 trim focuses on off-road capability with features like lifted suspension, all-terrain tires, and Hill Descent Control. The top-tier Denali prioritizes luxury and technology, offering advanced driver assistance features, premium interior materials, and a more refined driving experience.
Under the hood, the 2025 Terrain is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. While specific power figures haven’t been released, GMC promises a balance of performance and efficiency.
