Girard-Perregaux unveils the Laureato green ceramic Aston Martin Edition

The all-new Girard-Perregaux Leaureato green ceramic Aston Martin Edition is available in 42mm & 38mm.

British Racing Green is a colour synonymous with many British Racing car manufacturers and is now employed on present-day Aston Martin cars.

In this fourth edition of Girard-Perregaux and Aston Martin, the swiss watch manufacturer introduces us to its iconic Laaureato model, now in green ceramic. The lightweight material consists of zirconium and metallic oxides. The watch is finished with a combination of polished and satin surfaces. The green ceramic components are up to seven times harder than steel delivering incredible scratch resistance.

Aston Martin is known for their sleek contours and lightweight construction. Girard-Perregaux has implemented these design cues into the Aston Martin green ceramic Laureato with skeletonized ‘baton’ type hour and minute hands. The watch dial features a cross-hatch diamond-like pattern found on the ‘AM’ logo (1921-1926) and in quilted seats in some of the high-performance Aston Martin models.

Looking behind the Girard-Perregaux Aston Martin green ceramic, we will find the GP01800 movement in the 42mm iteration, while the 38mm model will feature the GP03300 movement. Both in-house movements are self-winding, and you can admire the movement through the see-through case-back personalized with the Aston Martin Logo. the 42mm Laureato will have at least 54 hours of power reserve, while the 38mm will get 46 hours of power reserve.

The Girard-Perregaux Aston Martin green ceramic in 42mm is priced at $25,800, and the 38mm is priced at $25,000. The watch will go on sale in June 2023 and will be available worldwide in selected Girard-Perregaux retailers and boutiques.
