First BOSS X Aston Martin Collection Launches With Fernando Alonso As The Campaign’s Face

Think quality clothing with high-performance materials and details like zip pullers, cord ends and snap buttons inspired by Aston Martin vehicles

In the spirit of bringing together the essence of speed and style, luxury fashion brand BOSS has unveiled its first capsule collection in collaboration with luxury sportscar maker Aston Martin. This new collaborative collection between the luxury brands, draws input and inspiration from both, BOSS’ premium fashion aesthetic, and Aston Martin’s high-performance models and racing legacy.

Capsule Characteristics

For this capsule, an off-the-track lifestyle wardrobe has been created, with a focus on innovation and design, combining quality clothing with high-performance materials and traditional tailoring. The partnership will deliver two capsule collections a year. Elements across the collection reflect interior touches from Aston Martin models, including the quilted leather seats. Garment details such as zip pullers, cord ends and snap buttons also take inspiration from finishes on these high-performance vehicles. A unique cord adjuster was inspired by the sophisticated aluminium oil filler cap available from its Q by Aston Martin bespoke service. Lightweight high-performance materials prevalent in sportscar design also crossover to the collection, including the use of carbon-fibre taped seams. This collection is defined by tailored pieces which include superfine merino-wool jersey and a durable carbon-fibre and cotton denim blend. The collection has been presented in a smart color palette of white, pale gray, opal green, and dark mink.

Face Of The Campaign: F1 Driver Fernando Alonso

Fernando Alonso, the world famous Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team driver and BOSS brand ambassador, takes centre stage in the photoshoot and film, as the campaign’s face, personifying the BOSS brand’s foundational platform “Be Your Own BOSS”.
