Farnborough Airshow: Pratt & Whitney Signs Big Engine Deal With Cebu Pacific

At the Farnborough International Airshow 2024, Cebu Pacific held an official ceremony for the 152 aircraft order it signed with Airbus earlier this month. The deal, estimated at USD 24 billion, comprises a firm order for 102 A321neos plus purchase rights for 50 A320neo family aircraft. The airline confirmed that Pratt & Whitney GTF engines will power the future jets.It isn’t the first time Cebu Pacific has chosen Pratt & Whitney GTF engines to power its aircraft. The first deal the two parties struck was in 2012.
